Welcome to PixMill!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PixMill website and services ("Website"). By using our Website and services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of PixMill

PixMill is a marketplace for photo editing. Users can post requests for photos they want edited, and photo editors compete to submit the best edits. Editors are free to set their own prices, and all edits submitted through the platform are automatically watermarked until purchased.

2. Ownership and Usage Rights

When a requester purchases an edit, they will receive the unwatermarked version of the edited image. Editors retain ownership of their submitted edits until purchased, but by submitting an edit, they grant PixMill the right to display it on the platform.

3. Payments

Purchases on PixMill are processed via Stripe Connect. Editors receive payment directly through Stripe Connect after a requester completes a purchase. PixMill does not hold funds on behalf of users.

4. User Data and Privacy

We collect and store user data, including name, email, and payment information, as necessary to provide our services. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy.

5. Non-Personal Data Collection

We may use cookies and other tools to collect non-personal data for improving our services and user experience.

6. Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Users must not submit inappropriate or illegal content. Editors should compete fairly and provide honest work. Any misuse of PixMill, including attempting to bypass watermarks or manipulate payments, may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

8. Updates to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of PixMill after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
